Here is another craft that will add to the groceries your doll has. These DIY American Girl Uncrustables will be perfect in a store, in the fridge, or set up for a garden party!  This is a craft that is fun for all ages! Some of our Uncrustables ended up looking more like crackers, but it was still fun! ?

TIPS:

  • You can leave the puffy paint out if you don’t want any sandwiches to look like they have a bite taken out of them. But it looks so cute!
  • You can use Mod Podge to seal them, but we tried something new called Delta Ceramcoat Sealer. I like it so far!
  • Leaving the clay unpainted/chalked is perfect for the white bread sandwiches. However, if your dolls like wheat you can use paint or chalk to give them a light brown color!

Watch and give it a thumbs up please!

I think opening your own Etsy Shop would be a great idea! You are so good at crafting, and I’m sure other people would definitely agree! I would totally want to buy from you if you ever did it!

I tried making these, and they didn’t turn out. So I formed them into Krispy Kreme doughnuts while they were still wet!

Hi Rudy, I was wondering- which type of Mod Podge did you use? I have some, but every time I paint it on clay food, it makes it super shiny and sticky… ? Thanks!

Some people find Mod Podge sticky, I think it depends on how thick or thin you apply it and your climate. If you live in any humidity at all you might want to use a different sealer.

These look so realistic! No offense, but I’m not a huge fan of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches. But I don’t even have model magic, so I don’t have to worry about them being to irresisdently ADORABLE!!!!!

I need to get some model magic! It looks so fun to squish and play around with! And it’s so much faster to use it instead of making Cornstarch Dough!

Our AG pantry is full. How about some crafts to make for other parts of our AG house? Maybe summer out door toys….jump rope, pool or soccer net? Thanks for reading and just keep crafting. ?
