DIY Puffy Paint Craft

We love using puffy paint in our crafts. It’s one of our favorite things to add when crafting. Since puffy paint comes up a lot, we have gotten several requests to make a puffy paint alternative. So, in this video we show you several different ways to make puffy paint, and you can choose which one you like best.

Materials Needed:

  • Empty Squirt Bottles
  • White Glue
  • Mod Podge
  • Shaving Cream
  • Acrylic Paint

TIPS:

  • If you don’t want to buy empty bottles, look around the house. You might be surprised at some of the things you can use. A ketchup bottle, empty glue bottle, recycled puffy paint bottles, etc.
  • Around back to school season there are really great deals on school glue. You can get them as low as a penny! My stock up price is a quarter per bottle (or less) and I get as many as I can because we use a lot of glue!

Watch and tell us your favorite DIY Puffy Paint option!

Thx so much for making DIY Puffy Paint. this will be so helpful because I don’t have puffy paint at home and since I have mod podge and paint, I can make puffy paint. Also, for me #2 is the best out of the three.

I like the Mod Podge #2 . I am thinking that it might be as/more expensive than puffy paint when you consider the cost of Mod Podge. My second favorite would be #3 reg school glue, definitely more affordable.

I agree #3 is the least expensive option! Some people can’t get puffy paint but they can get Mod Podge! So I wanted to show it for those people who don’t have access to Puffy Paint where they are.
