DIY American Girl Shampoo

DIY American Girl Shampoo

Ever since we started using the droppers (pipettes) in our crafts, so many ideas have been popping into our heads. They have such a great shape and they come in different sizes so it’s fun to try and figure out what we can do with them. These are the same ones we used to make the Smart Water bottles. They are perfect for Tresemme shampoo!

Materials Needed:

  • 15mL Pipettes
  • Craft Paint
  • Shampoo Printables
  • Perler Beads
  • Super Glue *I use Gorilla Glue and it’s great!
  • Hot Glue *Only if you want to seal the bottom of the bottle

Watch and tell us what shampoo you use!

Love this! I started making these last night, but noticed as my paint dried it started peeling from the plastic bottles. The paint I’m using is a basic craft paint. Should I be using acrylic or a different type of paint?

    Help!!!

Were you painting the inside of the bottles? If you want to apply paint to the outside, you need to use a spray paint that works for plastics.

I agree with Jade, can you make more printables? Most of my dolls have curly and wavy (one had more curls that over the yrs. turned into waves) hair

I really LOVE this craft, but….. I guess I’m just disapointed. The brand is for only people with straight hair. What about the people that don’t have that type of hair? :C
