American Girl Newspaper

This was such a fun project to do!  My daughter and I completely designed the American Girl newspaper with details of todays news.  Oh, and maybe a few extras!  I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!  Since our dolls have Starbucks, this pairs nicely with it don’t you think?! I also thought it might be fun to do a new one every year to reflect what the new GOTY is doing and other current events.  Wouldn’t that be fun to archive just for personal reference?!

P.S. My daughter wanted to ask you if you like the pink on the newspaper stand?  It was her color of choice for this project and she loves it!

I originally did a vote on Facebook to see which newspaper stand would be most popular.  Honestly, I like the black one best and I just wanted reassurance!  However, the vote proved me outnumbered!  Everyone liked the blue one.  So, I have decided to do both.  Stay tuned for the next one and a different (older) newspaper to come!

For the printable, you just print as is.  There is no need to resize unless you want it to be a different size than what’s pictured(with the doll).

Love this craft!! I’m looking forward to a new newspaper! It will be great to have them for over the years. Also, I love the pink color. And, (I know I’ve said this a lot so I’m sorry if I’m bugging you) can you make a doll clarinet? That would be awesome if you could!

Just saw the newspaper last night!! OMG I love it. I actually had some newsprint paper sized for my printer, so I printed it off on that. Did you know the fold was on the wrong side??

Anyway cannot wait for the other newspaper stand and ANOTHER newspaper!!

I loved the idea… it is SUPER CUTE! But i think that you should make it so the doll can look at the whole newspaper (words on every paper)! But i love all of your crafts and you are REALLY talented!

I can. I need to do a better job of that. Most of my ideas come from something that’s going on in my life or by request of my daughter. If you have any requests, feel free to comment and I will see what I can do!
