I Spot a Birdie

We have added yet another Our Generation set to our American Girl collection!  I have to admit, we absolutely LOVE these little sets!   Again, the price is always right and Target is so convenient for us to get to.  If the American Girl store were in the same shopping center as Target, we would need an intervention!  The set we just added is the I Spot a Birdie accessory pack, and it is darling!  I originally wasn’t going to get this set, because I knew we could replicate everything in it, but after seeing it in person we couldn’t leave it behind!  These sets run between $5-$8 depending on your area and what sales Target is having.  Remember to always check your cartwheel just in case there is a discount available!

We went to the summer dollar movie this week and watched Rio 2.  If you have ever seen it, you know how Blue loves his fanny pack and doesn’t go anywhere without it.  He even fights a couple of monkeys who try and steal it away from him.  Since that image was so fresh in our minds, it was a no brainer that our dolls needed a fanny pack also. ?

Julie has claimed this set and has already been on a bird watching expedition.  She found a nice tree outside where she could enjoy the shade as she doodled in her notebook.  Julie also decided to make a little climb up the branches!  Don’t worry, she’s a great climber!  I wonder what she saw through her binoculars?
