Mega Bloks has a new line of American Girl buildable sets. One of the bigger sets is Grace’s 2-in-1 Buildable House which has 749 pieces! One of the cool features about it is the changeable design. It can be a complete home for the girls or it can change in to a patisserie and a slumber party scene. I think it’s a cute idea to have American Girl blocks, however as Lego fan, I’m a little sad to see them as Mega Bloks. Mega Bloks and Legos are very similar, but building this I could really tell the difference. We have many, many Lego sets and have some hard core Legoers in our family, so it’s kind of a big deal to bring in Mega Bloks. If you are not picky about the brand though, this is a really fun set to add to your collection. The little figures are perfect for the full size American Girl Dolls to play with. You can also get the individual figures fro $3.99. These are sold at Toys R Us in stores and online.

I got Saige and Isabelle set a couple of weeks ago. The Grace set had not arrived but I’m definitely getting the house. My daughter’s b-day is not until the end of the month; so, I can’t wait for her reaction. I think the sets are very detailed and great replicas of the dolls! Btw I like the extra doll with the cute coconut outfit!!!!!

I LOVE Lego (I use to LOVE Lego Friends I had 30 sets, but I put them away for American girl), but this set is really cool for Mega Bloks!

Nice! I used to be OBSESSED with Legos and that type of thing. Then I got into AG, and I like AG better then LEGO.

You must be so happy with the new set I love lago’s but I don’t have a lot of maga block’s it is a cute set but in preferring lago’s than can you make a doll verge for the 18 inc dolls that would be nice thanks Rudy please reply! Mary ??
