American Girl Concession Candy

You might have noticed I have done three candy crafts back to back.  That’s because I am in the middle of a fun, much bigger candy creation!  It should be done soon, so stay tuned.  As soon as I post it, I will be sure to link it back here so you can find it.

There are so many ways you can use these American Girl Concession Candy boxes.  You can make them for trick or treat handouts, use them in a movie theater setting, set up a sports game concession stand, the list can go on and on.  That is why they are a must have in your American Girl food collection!

Now, because you are making these American Girl Concession Candy boxes from scratch and because they are so small, you need patience for this craft!  It can be done.  It is easy once you understand the instructions.

Materials Needed:

1. American Girl Concession Candy Printables
2. Scissors
3. Tape or glue
4. Beads
5. Cardstock (you need to use this so your boxes are sturdy)

 Step 1:

Print the candy box printables on card stock and cut them  out.

Step 2:

Cut 4 small slits on each side where you will make folds for the boxes.  Some printables only require three cuts on each side.

Step 3:

Fold all the slits you just made on the left and right.  Then fold along the box one time on the top and bottom, and two times in the middle.  You are just creasing them now so it’s easier to fold in the next step.

Step 4:

Fold the cut out like a box.  Start with the long side, tape, then do the bottom.  Once you tape the bottom place beads inside so it sounds  like candy when you shake it. Last you can close the top and tape shut.
