Do you remember when the exciting Our Generation Ice Cream truck came out?  Well, when we did a review on it everyone noticed how tiny those snow cones were! I mean, they were the size of a doll lollipop, not snow cone! So, we have finally crafted the snow cones to scale and we are really happy with them. We also did a bonus and crafted a vendor box so the dolls can walk around sports games and sell them!

Materials Needed:

  • Scrapbook Paper
  • Small Styrofoam Balls
  • Markers
  • Glue

TIPS:

  • We used the smooth 1 ” styrofoam balls. The regular styrofoam balls do actually look more realistic, but they get crushed so easily. We wanted these to last a long time the harder ones were best for us. Plus, the glitter gives it an “icy” look.
  • You don’t have to seal them once you color them, but since they will be in contact with the dolls it’s best to be safe than sorry. The color could end up rubbing on the dolls vinyl if it’s not sealed.
  • The cup we used made a 3″ circle that we cut in half for the cones.

Watch and tell us what your favorite flavor snow cone is!

This looks so cool! I just went to Michael’s (sorry if that’s misspelled) but I forgot to get styrofoam balls. Could you do soft-serve ice cream with a waffle cone and possibly sprinkles?
