American Girl Doll Twix Candy Craft
It’s time to add Twix Candy bars to your dolls concession stand! This DIY American Girl Twix Candy Craft is fun and it gets everyone involved. It does take a few hours for the puffy paint to dry, so keep that in mind when you start. If your dolls have a lemonade stand maybe they can sell candy bars to go with the bitter sweet drink! We can’t wait to see how you set these us and don’t forget to tag us when you post pictures!
- Don’t rush when lining the hot glue. The hotter the gun, the runnier it will be. It’s best to let it cool a few seconds before you start the line. That way you don’t get a blob. So, if you have a cordless, take it off the charger for a few seconds. If you have a corded gun, unplug it and start.
- You don’t have to paint the Twix before the puffy paint, but it does ensure that you don’t get any transparent spots.
- No puffy paint? Just mix glue with a tad of the brown paint and you will get the same effect for your chocolate.
- If you want them a little bit taller, you can add a second layer of hot glue on top once the first layer is dry.
